About Tile Shift
Tile Shift is the classic fifteen-tile sliding puzzle. Fifteen numbered tiles sit in a 4 by 4 frame with one gap, and the only way to move a tile is to slide it into that gap. Your job is to put them back in order from 1 to 15.
Every shuffle is checked so it can always be solved. Quick solvers score more, so watch the move counter and the clock. Most people find the top two rows easy and the last few tiles hard, which is where the real thinking starts.
How to play
- Click or tap a tile next to the gap to slide it.
- Arrow keys slide the tile into the gap from that direction.
- Finish rows from the top down, then work the last two rows together.
